If you are a new ham, you may find yourself wondering “Now what?” or “Where is everybody?”

Getting your first radio programmed is something most of us muddle through to make our way into the local ham community, and CHRC wants to make that easier for you.

One of our members, N6BG, has created a short list of local repeaters that are being used by many of the East Valley Amateur radio operators in our club and other clubs.

There are two versions– a CSV spreadsheet you can edit and copy and paste from, and a full “IMG” file you can upload straight to your Baofeng UV5R Handy Talkie using the free CHIRP software.

Arizona Mountain Repeaters

For those of you who like hiking and Summits on the Air (SOTA) another club member (Lee N7LP) has also provided his own list of mountaintop repeaters all over Arizona.
